About this event

Swap cookies, stories and recipes in this joint Plug in and Cookbook Club event, limited to 30 attendees. To participate, you need to agree to all three steps:

1. BAKE 30 COOKIES TO SWAP.

2. Be prepared to SHARE A STORY about the cookies with your fellow attendees (1-2 minutes): e.g. why it's your favorite, a special tip that makes them the best cookie ever, or a tradition behind making these cookies.

3. SEND YOUR COOKIE RECIPE to be included in a cookie recipe cookbook to mmeagher@yournextquest.com. We will assemble a cookie recipe cookbook in pdf format to send to attendees after the event. Deadline: Friday, Dec. 2.

Follow this recipe format:

  • Write or type the recipe onto an 8.5 by 11-inch sheet of paper.
  • Save it either as a Word document or in pdf format.
  • Send it as an attachment in an email. (If you handwrite your recipe, you can scan it for sending in an email. That service is free at The Robbins!)
  • The document must include: the name of the cookie, your name and recipe attribution. For example: Chocolate Shortbread, recipe from Lucy Natkiel of Brown Bag Cookie Molds, contributed by Michèle Meagher.

Questions? Send an email to Michèle Meagher at mmeagher@yournextquest.org or to Linda Dyndiuk at LDyndiuk@minlib.net and one of us will walk you through how to do this.

There will be a waiting list for this event. If a registered attendee has not submitted their recipe by end of day on Friday, Dec. 2, then their ticket will be released to someone on the waiting list.
